S☉N RISE / S☉N OF THE SUN is a Hermetic fable, a project birthed in an embryonic form in 2017 as a Piano composition and in 2018 at the Basilica Hudson in New York as a performance piece and has been in progress ever since. It was since developed into an album S☉N RISE / S☉N OF THE SUN that will be released by ZamZamrec and Adaadat in February 2022. The project will be accompanied by a whirling choreography, live show / ritual and film.

Touching upon my deep seated attraction for Hermeticism, the ‘philosophy of Hermes’, also called Alchemy, it is based on ‘the Great Work’ and its three essential stages: Black, White and Red. It features original music, Hermetic incantations and Whirling dance.
